The breathtaking beauty of the Canadian Rockies in the winter. The magic of snow-capped mountains, frozen lakes, and stunning vistas makes this place my favourite. The turquoise Lake Louise looks even better with a dusting of snow.
Joffre Lakes Provincial Park in British Columbia. This is one of my favourite images of this lake and also the image that was a finalist in The Nature Conservancy global photography competition. I sat here eating lunch after the hard hike up, which was such a rewarding view.
The three sisters mountain in Canmore, Alberta is well known for its beauty and stand out features. Previously known as the three nuns due to their appearance with snowy peaks, it was later renamed in 1866. Canmore borders Banff National Park and is a beautiful mountain town that looks even more spectacular in the snow. On my trip to Canada I wanted to photograph this mountain again from this angle at sunrise but only had one morning that was going to be the best conditions. I was extremely lucky of a heavy snow storm the day before which made my shot even more unique. I couldn’t stop staring at how beautiful it looked inbetween taking shots
Lake Louise is one of the most famous lakes in the world. Adored due to its beauty and colour which is present because of glacial rock flour that has corroded. The lake is visited by millions every year and hosts a variety of hikes and outstanding landscape.
