Hiking the Canadian Rockies brings beautiful sightings such as this Bull Elk. I was hiking around Johnson Lake, Banff and a gang of elk were very close to the path. I managed to slowly walk by, taking a few shots as I did. They were watchful but carried on eating the vegetation undisturbed.
