Fir trees closely surrounding the mountains of Banff. Driving along the highways in Alberta offers amazing scenery. It's a lot of effort to drive safely and not look too much at what scenes you're going past- hence why I normally opt to be passenger. Stopping off at the little roadside lay-bys gives a chance to get out and properly take in views like this one.
