A Mule deer in the snowy Banff, Alberta, Canada. On the Bow Valley Parkway I came across this herd of Mule deer, eating the vegetation from the snowy branches. I loved this deers little antlers and facial features against the snowy background. Mule deer are are very similar to Whitetail with the main difference being that only the underside of the Whitetail deer is white, whereas the Mule deer has a white rump.
