A gang of elk soaking up the first hit of morning sun on a warm Octobers day. This handsome bull was sitting perfectly. Elk are very dangerous especially in rutting season so I had to keep my distance. An early morning drive around Banff golf course meant I got the opportunity of witnessing the wildlife bathing in the morning rays.
